FPO Awards, Call for Entries Now Open

News from our sister site FPO: For Print Only. Modeled after the Brand New Awards — once we saw it would work thanks to the amazing submissions and willing participants — we are now launching the FPO Awards, a judged competition that celebrates the best print work from around the world during 2010. Design professionals, students, printers, and hobbyists are invited to enter the Awards, as long as the work has been produced in a minimum quantity of 50.

The FPO Awards logo is made possible by the generosity of the Rob Roy Kelly American Wood Type Collection, held by the Design Division of the Department of Art and Art History at The University of Texas at Austin. This Flickr set shows the selection, inking process, and larger versions of the lock-ups above. We extend our gratitude to David Shields, Associate Professor, for letting us use (and mock around with) the collection.
