Established in 1861 — founded by James Edward Hanger, the first documented amputee of the American Civil War — Hanger, Inc. is a provider of orthotic and prosthetic services and products as well as operating hundreds of patient care centers nationwide. A new logo was introduced recently, dubbed the “Empower Mark,” which represents “a beacon of hope for Hanger’s clients, and its multiple colors represent the diversity of Hanger’s units, products, and service offerings.” Press release here.
