Felix, I was just about to say those same words.

I'm cracking up!

Jeff’s comment is:

As a designer, I feel I now have the legal right to wear a cape and striped purple pants to work every day. And challenge naysayers to fisticuffs.

Nate’s comment is:

Amusing but his lettering is far too hard to read. I read "snipers" but couldn't make it through a second issue.

Scott Lerman’s comment is:

Jeff, Felix, great to hear you seriously enjoyed the Pulp. Nate, sorry the payoff of reading Will's handwriting was mere amusement. We'll strive to up the hilarity and legibility. Promise.

Jerry Kuyper’s comment is:

I'm a big fan.

Logo Doc is still my favorite.

I only wish more logos were as easy to read as Will's handwriting.

except for the abhorrent, unnecessary use of flash to power the entire site, i quite enjoyed the parts that i could get to work.

JBIII’s comment is:

Very clever, the content makes up for the handwriting. Couple page forward or back arrows would easily help the usability of the page icons. Keep up the work.

Hmm...

Xerox... Xbox... Xerox... Xbox...

I bet the designer didn't even realize. I'd like to know the whole story though.

A rare behind the scenes look at branding, I love it! The raw texture of the color sketch's is refreshing, seductive and intoxicating, the script witty!

Char’s comment is:

Nice comics... however, when it comes to the content of "Sniping" I got to say... old school designers think we're creating crap. That's what people thought about Modernist painters during the Impressionist era. It's a never-ending story. That's the chain, you came in this industry and you will get replaced by others. Period.

Touché Char!

Jerry Kuyper’s comment is:

Char,

I would reread sniping. It suggests that replacing established brand icons with less creative and less effective solutions has become common place.

Undoubtably some of these shortcomings were created by "old school" designers and others were created by "new school" designers. Likewise sniping comes from all quarters as well.
