It is our great pleasure to announce that Brand New has joined Coroflot, the most dynamic, relevant and effective job board available for designers today. If you know exactly what this means and need no further introduction, make yourself at home and go browse or post a job at the Brand New Job Board — a handy button has been added to the right of the logo. If you would like to learn a little more, keep on reading.
For those Looking for Jobs
The Brand New Job Board displays all job postings in the Coroflot inventory; you don’t need to pay anything to see them. You may filter them through the categories added on the sidebar, and you might find the Branding & Corporate Identity to be your favorite. We will regularly update you on new job postings issued specifically through Brand New by posting them individually as part of our content. Basically: Enjoy. You might find your next dream job, or at least your next well-deserved paycheck, here.
For those Looking for Designers
If you are looking for designers specializing in corporate and brand identity, packaging, as well as strategists, marketers, copywriters and brand fiends, there is really no better place to find them than Brand New, and we are happy to be able to open up this world of connections.
Job postings cost US$265, here is what you get:
— Job postings are included in one category and are online for 90 days
— When you place a posting through Brand New, your job is published individually (and within 24 hours), to the home page as part of our everyday content, which generates an average of over 25,000 pageviews a day. It also goes to our RSS feed.
— Brand New’s readers come from all over the world, these our top ten countries: United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Brazil, Germany, Australia, Russia, Netherlands, Spain, and Mexico.
— And these are our top ten cities: New York, London, San Francisco, Chicago, Melbourne, Los Angeles, Sydney, Sao Paulo, Moscow, and Philadelphia.
— Other than revealing the asking salaries of designers, that’s probably all the information we have at the moment.

This will be great for those job-seekers out there! :)
yeahh!! like me, i need job!
What’s the font that jobs is printed in?
Would be helpful if there was a location option!
Woohoo! Melbourne!
Adam, it’s Apex New. Ultra weight. At vllg.com.
Really not a fan of the job postings spamming my RSS reader.
Agreed Rick. What I like about Brand New is that there is only one or two new posts each morning when I sit at my desk.
Pretty great information is available here.I must say this would be very useful for my son as he is searching a new job in this recession time.I will surly advise my child of this service. Thanks for great help.
I’m a fan of the job board concept, I am also not a fan of job listing in my RSS feed.
Spamming the RSS feed with the job postings is probably going to make many people (myself included) unsubscribe.
Any chance of a country filter option?
Sad to see this happening. I really like the articles at Brand New, but am nog happy with job postings which most of the time won’t be worth reading for people that are not living in the USA (like me).
Sorry, but if this starts to look like a job feed, that could cause problems for those of us who read this blog at work. It’s going to be hard to convince some people that I’m not looking for another job on the clock. I think this is a bad idea. I don’t mind links showing up on the right, but actual blog postings aren’t the answer. (IMHO)
NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! I love Brand New but what a horrible idea! Surfacing Job postings in this venue will inevitably do a disservice to those actively pursuing jobs via specific services, such as Coroflot.
Readers of Brand New will inevitably be much more likely to send their link over to a job posting even if they are perfectly happy at their jobs, or not actively attempting to find new employment. What is there to lose? This is a non issue for design agencies accustomed to weeding through dozens of applications. But for in-house jobs (such as the one featured in the first official job posting) applicants are often hurdled through an HR person (who often filters applicants by their own taste, as I’ve seen from personal experience).
Adding more applicants to the mix will hurt the chances of someone that has visited Job Listing Specific sites, and is actively seeking employment. I think it is a natural idea to feature job listings here, but at least create a separate blog so that those that are actually looking for a job may intentionally explore the listings.
Example for this: have you ever been perfectly happy at a job and had a friend tell you there is an opening at their employers? Suddenly you start to think about leaving or that you could earn more money or you wonder if their environment is better. In these times, people trying to find work have enough trouble. It is the equivalent of an apartment listing you discovered on craigslist suddenly running a posting in Dwell magazine. Your chances will be shot.
it would be nice to have at least a salary range in the job description…
Agree completely with Nathan’s comment. Making them more ad-like or differentiating somehow from content would be helpful (I can’t believe I’m advocating for “more ad-like” either).
2 more things.
1. Brand New should entertain the idea of updating their site at the same pace that TechCrunch does.
2. What is the font of the following?
