The old logo, last designed in 1970, had a lot of nostalgic charm, but when was the last time — creepy roadside motels notwithstanding — you plugged a device with the kind of plug shown in the logo? Unfortunately the new logo is very generic, it could be for absolutely anything. The one very nice thing is the reverse "ø" where the slash is implied rather than shown.
