Pensacola, Florida just got their own Minor League Baseball team — the Blue Wahoos. Unveiled in November 2011, the team identity was designed by Brandiose, and you can see the baseball cap version of the logo after the jump.

Last month, Telkom, the state-owned provider of landline phone services in South Africa, introduced a new mobile service that is only the fourth brand to enter the market — behind Cell C (which we covered in August), Vodacom, and MTN. To introduce the new service Telkom worked with McCann Erickson, who created a pre-launch campaign that inundated the public with cryptic and playful billboards and print advertisements with the word “Heita” (South African slang for “hi”), rendered all in black-and-white with the exception of a pink dot. The pre-launch campaign served to introduce the correct pronunciation of the new provider, 8.ta.

Please don’t question me as I feel a deeply rooted obligation to continue coverage of the evolving identity of the 25-year-old Hasbro brand, My Little Pony. I reviewed it last September and even included it in the Best identities of 2009. (I like to keep you all guessing as to my sanity). To coincide with the launch of the animated series My Little Pony Friendship Is Magic on The Hub channel, recently reviewed here, My Little Pony has introduced a new logo.
