ASSIGNMENTFor this assignment we were asked to define a whole new brand for a variety of different organizations. We needed to first define what was wrong with the current branding and figure out a way to solve this issue. We had the option of choosing a large company, a local business, or to define a new organization. The process began with a new logo concept and branched into collateral material, environmental graphics and exhibit design.

ASSIGNMENTThis was in our Visual Communications program where we could choose to work on a variety of projects or one big project. I recently attended a student portfolio review hosted by AIGA SLC Chapter they mentioned I lacked showing an identity system so I took that critique and decide to develop a rebrand of an existing company.

ASSIGNMENTI was asked to design a identity system for Vujadé, a training and communication advise company. The only constraints I had where in the briefing:
The company wanted its identity system to look modern and a bit obstinate (in a positive way, i have quite a hard time finding the correct word for this).

ASSIGNMENTThis was our major project for 5th semester. We had the choice of doing literally anything. I used to live in Toronto, Canada, and was never a fan of the Toronto Transit Commission's (TTC) design and overall look.
I really enjoy the thought processes that go into branding and thought this would be a great challenge, given all the different collateral that goes into a public transport system, especially in a city like Toronto.

ASSIGNMENTI'd been looking for a branding project to do this summer to keep in practice and I came upon the NASA redesign by BaseNow. While I do appreciate the premise I was not a fan, particularly when it gets smaller. So I set about doing my own rendition which you can view in the attached.

ASSIGNMENTAs a final assignment we were asked to brand the new
Cumulus design event so they had about 17 ideas to choose from. Cumulus Association organizes a design conference each year at a different school in a different country. This year's name was "Borderline — Pushing design over the limit" and was organized by our school. The assignment consisted of a complete branding exercise: logo(type), stationery, bag, pen, branding guidelines, and an extra item.

It was to be comprised of a logo, letterhead system, advertisements, museum signage, website, web advertisement, packaging/bags, collateral, and a final display.
