You know, it doesn't actually say what she does on there.

But stil a very pretty card, if somewhat difficult to keep in a wallet.

That's a pretty good price for 1000 letterpress custom die business cards. Also i sort of like the fact that i can't really tell what she does-makes me want to investigate or contact to figure it out(but thats me-the extra leg work might turn others away)Great work!

Agreed on the "Luperior" reading. Sad story, but I know most/all people receiving the card will use common sense. Pretty cute, overall.

Good grief. That's considered a good price? In India I'd pay about 30% of that to produce a similar product.

Is letterpress considered expensive in the West? Here it's one of the cheapest options - there aren't many letterpresses left, but nor is there much demand.

Expensive or not, popular or not, letterpress does produce a very beautiful effect for the finished product. Personally, I think the card is pretty and the shape is very engaging.

Thanks for all of the great input on our business card design! I guess part of what might be misleading is that it's titled as "Jennifer Blanco business card." I wanted to submit as much of the design as I could without giving out our specific contact info (maybe being a little too cautious). The resultant images cropped part of our names and what our company does. The actual design does include full names, with our services involving paper goods and design.

In regard to the cost of letterpress printing here versus say India - we could have secured a lower price printing overseas, but using American vendors who print in an ecologically conscious way is very much a part of our company's ethos. Honestly, I couldn't believe the letterpress printing and die-cutting was as cheap as we paid, with such good quality.

I have a hard time not falling in love with anything printed letterpress. These are beautifully designed, too.

I didn't mean to suggest that the quality was in any way inferior or for that matter that I don't like the final product. Just for the record, I think it looks fantastic.

I'm just amazed at the price difference.

Oh of course, I don't mean to suggest that it wouldn't be done well anywhere else. I think it's very interesting too, how it's become so boutique style here. Maybe the same will eventually happen there too?

Ha, do I spy a little Archer in there? I always a good mix of nice fonts + hand-lettered logotype. The custom die-cut seems great for attracting your ideal buyers: someone with fun and funky taste buying for a hip local shop.
