Designing a book is no cupcake, and when it encompasses various pieces things can get complicated. Add to that the mix and match quality of the stationeries and you surely have a thorny situation that Principle was able to tackle alongside Chronicle Books as they patiently matched patterns (which they printed, realizing rather quickly that trying to do it digitally was way harder), added envelopes and worked through an extensive color palette.

While this project does not go crazy in specialty techniques, its beauty (besides the design, of course) resides in the intricacy of the many details and pieces that needed to come together as designer, production managers and a printer in China strived towards a perfect end result.
