As a combination of disclaimer and introduction I have had the pleasure of working with Toronto-based illustrator Ben Weeks on one project late last year, as well as sharing a cup of coffee sometime when he visited Brooklyn. He is both a fantastic illustrator/letterer and a friendly coffee sharer. (This doesn't mean you have to ask us for coffee to get on FPO!). Knowing his work, it was great to receive a large promo from him in the mail that didn't show any of his work, but instead it was a fold-out poster that depicted, in his signature wobbly style, all of his many loves, from Speak Up (circled in pink marker just for us), to NASA, to Paul Rand, to a number of design books and publications, and a myriad other things, all sweetly printed purple on an off-white paper. And, yes, coffee (or tea?) is one of his loves.

Jake’s comment is:

It's beautiful, and a great nod to all of the things he enjoys...

BUT, the front of the poster is eerily reminiscent of "Pretty Sure..." by Nick Schmitz, no?
