There are thick business cards, and then there are thick business cards. Those who love them are usually aware of which paper mill can deliver the thickest and most delicious paper in which to print the ultimate business card. And others resort to gluing two or more papers to create the effect.
For this business card, seven layers of paper were manually glued together (which the printer has dubbed Septaplexing) to form an alternating pattern of colors. Then they were printed using a 100-year-old, manually-operated letterpress.
With the use of a single color, besides the paper, the brand is carried on all six sides of the card — something every receiver is sure to notice. That, and the fact that it won’t necessarily fit in their minimalist wallet.
