For a group show called “It’s 2 AM” at the ghettogloss gallery in Los Angeles, fourteen artists tackled the subject of “the ups and downs of life at 2am in the city of Los Angeles.” Now, if you have been reading FPO since its inception and have a really good memory, you might remember that Justin Leibow was previously featured here. Sort of. His kids were. So, while Justin is all teddy bears and play-doh during the day, when it’s 2am you better watch out because, well, as his FPO submission this time around stated that this poster “says what I’m thinking.” Although from the brief e-mail exchanges I’ve had with him, I think the most cutting he will do will be a paper cut with that hundred-pound-cover paper the poster is printed on. Loved that he spent the money on that additional third color for the light background.
