In his entry for the The Great Oil Leak Poster Project Jude Landry — who on Friday showed us his initial caps abilities — went with a great metaphor for the BP disaster: a black, oily, mean-looking octopus that has grabbed a hold of those poor states. If you ask me, graphic design could use from more octopus metaphors. And from more designers doing their own damn posters!
