There are two things I love: Coffee (especially at 5:00 am) and infographics (especially not at 5:00 am). These two entities have come together in not just a deliciously looking poster but an informative one to boot by the folks at New York-based Plaid. Nothing like an argumentative barista to kickstart a project:
The project started as a pursuit for the perfect cup of coffee after our creative director got into an argument with a local barista on how to make a latte. So we decided to create a print to help the average person understand how their favorite coffee drink is made. In the end we found out there are many ways to make the same coffee beverage, but we hoped that the rest of the world would share our love for coffee with this poster.
The production all went very smoothly thanks to MG imaging. What we found most difficult was when we began to sell the poster through our blog. The shipping, packing and delivering process is much more complicated then we anticipated.
Being self-shippers ourselves, we feel your pain Plaid. If you don’t care about how much the staff at Plaid suffers shipping these posters feel free to order one, and then, maybe, an Irish Coffee.
