Weddings, as of late, have taken a colorful turn. Kelly and John designed their wedding materials with a refreshingly more “traditional” color scheme: black and white.

We opted for black and white colors and wanted to display our classic and modern sensibilities while being romantic. The inspiration is part 1960s and part-French post card. We tried to forget any type of graphic trends so that these would look as if the invitations would look timeless. Finally, we did this all with one-color printing to save money and time on printing.

The hardest part? You have to stop nitpicking at some point… or you run out of time. Designing your own wedding invitations are some of the most intense hours you will ever spend. When it is something this important, you will spend hours looking for mistakes when there are none.
