Designer and printer and retailer all rolled into one? Indeed. With each passing day this is something that more of us are able to do. All you need is a little ambition, some good ideas, great design sensibility, access to printing technology and an online store.

I wanted to create a letterpress card line that was both playful and modern while also being nostalgic. Some of my biggest inspirations are mid-century modern design, vintage animation and song lyrics from classic 1980s hits. While I have been printing on a letterpress for three years, the biggest challenge I met while printing this card line was the art of registration.

As they say, practice makes perfect.
