One of the things I enjoy the most about the holiday break is coming back home after two weeks and finding a huge pile of mail brimming with holiday cards. It’s like a second Christmas morning. This year, a particular piece caught my attention, Cincinnati-based HyperQuake’s 10th anniversary poster (so, maybe not an official holiday card, but it arrived in that time). A slender little thing with bright orange letters and some beautifully detailed embossing. There was no big “concept” per se to it, but it was executed flawlessly and it’s visually awesome.
