This feels like a step in the right direction for a company who, from what I hear, is the BBQ version of Hooters. The illustrations capture the rhythm of jazz and the soul of blues music. Coaster coupons are a smart way to save paper and money!

[Ed.s’ note: Apologies for not having more complete production details on this one. Still, images speak for themselves.]

Bone Daddy’s House of Smoke is a popular Texas BBQ restaurant and bar. They approached The Matchbox Studio, a Dallas-based design firm, to re-brand all of their print and interactive collateral materials. Their Dallas and Austin restaurants are filled with Southern folk-art and a very funky junkyard vibe. To reflect this unique atmosphere Matchbox incorporated hand-set wood type, rich colors, screen printed textures and the amazing illustrations of Nate Williams - who’s quirky style brought the menu, website and collateral pieces to life.
