From the same team (Chandelier Creative) that brought you this amazing pop-up holiday card comes another print extravaganza, this time for a client, proving that they can talk the self-promotional talk and walk the client-driven walk. Or something. This 2010 holiday catalog for Lane Crawford, Asia’s leading luxury multi-brand specialty store, comes in a sultry gold box that opens up like a piece of origami to reveal an equally sultry gold book with a embossed cover that is to die for. The inside is beautifully printed offset and is peppered with inserts in uncoated stock that provide little surprises throughout the catalog. There are die-cuts, there are tip-ins, and there is flawless photography and typography. Makes you want to be a luxury-multi-brand-specialty-store consumer in Asia, don’t it?

To complement the lovely photographs provided by Chandelier Creative we have taken some crappy iPhone photos that give you a sense of some of the details of the catalog.

Chandelier Creative created a catalog around the theme of celebrating new traditions for the holidays. The client, Lane Crawford, is Asia’s leading luxury multi-brand specialty store. The catalog boasts images of designer clothing, accessories, cosmetics, housewares, table top and holiday gift items shot on creatively built and styled sets. There are many surprises sprinkled throughout the catalog — a liberty print postcard, a Beef Wellington with Mushroomy Wine Gravy Extravaganza recipe, and a traditional holiday carol and sheet music (with new lyrics that include names of top fashion designers) are a few highlights tucked away in between the pages, giving viewers an interactive experience. Holiday memories and traditions, tips, and recipes are shared from influencers of the fashion, art, design and culinary worlds.
