I’ve been seeing this style of business card a lot lately. Simple black and white letterpressed cards with a colored edge. I argue that the colored edge highlights the weight of the paper, almost like a frame, making it seem more like a small work of art than a business card.

I’ve always been inspired by letterpressed cards, and couldn’t wait for the opportunity to design my own cards in the same medium. My goals were to create a clean and simple solution that shows my design capabilities, my information, and of course, to make it as hard as possible for someone to throw my card away.

I had an enjoyable experience with the printer, and am grateful for their internal quality control when they reprinted my cards for free in order to get me the best quality possible.
