As if designers (nerds) needed something besides dark rimmed glasses, collared (ironed) shirts, and ridiculously expensive (yet completely distressed and about to fall apart) boots to set them apart. Now we can proudly adhere these merit badges to our chests and reassure ourselves that the revolution is underway. See all the different merit badges here.

The badges are embroidered with a velcro back. The edges of the letterpress backs are colored with a metallic gold edge which is different from gilding which lays down a flat layer of gold leaf. The color we use contains metallic gold flakes but the end results is a shimmery gold edge not a reflective one.
