The Squelette clothing company’s business cards implore its wearers to “Cover your bones.” The design appears to have been inspired by a vintage atlas of anatomy. The offset and letterpress cards present a rigidity that enhances the bony appearance of the logotype. Squelette’s fashionable, exoskeletal threads should at least keep you warm if not safe from the dangers of modern life.

Ed.’s Notes: 1) Please welcome our new intern, Cole Baldwin, who will be writing for FPO and 2) Images on this post reflect the full stationery but only details for the business card have been provided.

We were inspired by old medical forms and liked the idea of having a business card that reflected the aesthetic of a prescription type label… at the same time give it personality and have the spirit of the clothing label brand.

Learned to fight the urge to do more, we always loved it, then wondered if we should do more. In the end we were happy with the result.
