This is the third in a series organized by Alex Pearson of Family Tree that features a quatrifecta of mythical animals, this time from the Far East. Alex explains:

The concept behind this project is to create a collaborative series of posters each by a different artist, yet the styles of which go very well together. Almost story-book like, I wanted to create something that is reminiscent of childhood, but not sappy. I like think of myself as a very tall 28 year old child, and I guess this is how I manage to stay that way.

Like the previous series, these posters are simply awesome. The illustrations and hand-rendered typography are to die for. While in the last series we saw some fancy glow-in-the-dark printing this time around we get white and red ink on red paper. Not just appropriate but ever so delicious.
