Print meets web with these wedding invitations. I like the concept of using Twitter-inspired iconography and layouts to design a printed invitation. The icons themselves are cute and cohesive. What’s not to like?

The whole idea for these wedding invitation was a very personal approach, to the nature of the personality of the future married couple. Both are huge twitter fans, in fact, the website had a lot to do with their ending up together. They specifically wanted a wedding invitation that would convey that concept. We came up with the idea of a blog or twitter-like website card that would be theirs alone.

Three colors to emphasize both male and female personality and the use of letterpress printing technique to enhance the website elements of the card (such as press buttons or pop-ups). We also created a whole set of icons meant to be used in different moments of the ceremony and also to develop a complete identity for the wedding that would definitely set it apart from other conventional wedding.
