This business card finally gave me an excuse to download a QR reader onto my phone. Did you know QR codes were created by Toyota subsidiary Denso Wave in 1994 to track vehicles during the manufacturing process? Me neither. While the storage capacity for a QR code is much higher than perhaps the Teton Valley Lodge needed, the message the card sends reads loud and clear: “Yes, we are a mountain resort, but we have recent techology too. You can have it all here!” Plus, there’s just something so romantic about combining letterpress with computer code. In the mountains. While fishing.

As QR codes become more prevalent in marketing and business promotion, Teton Valley Lodge wanted a fresh and minimalist card that they could hand out to attract a younger demographic to the age-old art of western dry fly fishing.

A full service fly fishing resort located in the heart of the Teton mountain range, they want to emphasize that while you can get away from the world at an elevation of 6,500’ with a spectacular scenic backdrop - there are all the advantages of modern amenities and technology at the resort to assist you, whether are traveling for business or leisure.
