Smart combinations of color, pattern, paper and technique shine through each unique element of this eclectic California-wine-country-meets-Mexican-siesta invitation package. Quality paper and elegant ornament say more with less — inviting guests to enjoy a graceful ceremony in a laid back setting. Meanwhile, Brian and Allie get to save their precious pesos for more honeymoon margaritas!

Brian and Allie met in Mexico while doing volunteer work at an orphanage. Later, they got engaged in Mexico and after the wedding they honeymooned in Mexico. So, the now-married couple really wanted something that represented their eclectic personalities, Mexico, and sunflowers (which were very prominent in the ceremony) all in one package and on a very low budget. The colors, type, method of printing, and patterns were all carefully considered during the design process so that the desired look & feel would be achieved, while informing the viewer of their unique story. Everything was screen printed, hand stamped, and hand cut, giving each piece its own individuality because of various imperfections in registration and ink coverage.

Silkscreening proved to be the cheapest method possible for the quality of prints that the client desired. Screen printing has a unique charm to it in the fact that no two pieces are exactly alike. Also, ordering a stamp that would brand several pieces and also serve as a seal for the envelopes was much more inexpensive than we anticipated.
