With all the lore surrounding the year 2012, this calendar of myths and legends comes just in time. Whether or not you believe the tales of imminent apocalypse, these densely illustrated, textured images provide at least a month long shelter for the mind.

Screen printing is the worst. And the best. Anyone who has done it knows that there are a million things that can and will go wrong. But when everything finally clicks it’s a pretty amazing feeling to see something that until only recently was pencil scratchings glistening in ink printed by your own hand. I think that is the appeal for me- the ability to start completely from scratch, to work almost entirely away from the computer and end up with something handmade, yet uniform and reproducible. The bottom calendar part is easily cut away to leave an art print that can be framed in a standard 11”14” frame.
