Advertising a casino-themed, professional design awards competition with the concept of “Go All In,” this intricate invitation bets you’ll have a great time.

This project had a “shoot from the hip” factor, as it was a pro-bono piece for a nonprofit organization. During the design process, I was unaware of whether this would be diecut, lasercut, or some other form of magic. The complexity of the piece pushed production as far as it could—the design originally was going to be even more complex (on the 2011 panel, my favorite part!). Laser cutting allowed for more complexity to be possible, however each of the 900 printed pieces would take up more time for the laser to work its way through each panel, so this affected the design slightly. Overall the process was fairly open, but due to the talent coming from all ends of the team, it came out successful and was sent out in time for the show.
