A little light-capturing dingle-dangle is exactly what everyone needs during the holidays. Honestly! Relax, enjoy the light and celebrate how awesome it is that the sun comes up every day. And that there are people who take the time to make 100% perfectly symmetrical die cuts for our enjoyment.

The astronomical events, Summer and Winter Solstice celebrate the light of each season. Summer Solstice is the longest day of the year, while Winter Solstice is the longest night of the year. We created unique card designs that highlight the colors and shapes of each season with a luminous light catcher.

There were SO many challenges with the die cut! It had to be 100% perfectly symmetrical so that the front and back mounted perfectly. Our first die was off in symmetry and did not have enough space in between the tear drops. It caused the paper to overlap on each side. We had to rerun the entire job with more space and 100% symmetry for perfection.
