Project Description

Recently opening the doors on our new studio, we of course needed business cards immediately. We had just wrapped up the logo and general branding specifications and wanted to use the business card as an opportunity to push things even further. We used fun illustrations related to our name and process combined with a variety of printing techniques to add definition and depth to our visual identity.

Production Lesson(s)

The kind folks at Studio on Fire were happy to explain the difficulties associated with printing our almost full coverage back. They did an excellent job of steering us towards the Neenah Classic Crest paper, which holds the ink better than a Cranes paper, which would have ended up having more speckling to it. They also shared with us that sometimes they got the paper wet before printing full coverage color to ensure better ink absorption.”
