Project Description

Our brief for these cards was very straightforward: design something simple, yet substantial. We were given a ton of creative freedom with the design and production, and the project quickly became a favorite. The best part about them is the production: three sheets of 130C duplexed to create a 390 base, plus a trio of foils!

Production Lesson(s)

I think deciding to work with one of the best printers/finishers around really paid off. Not only did their portfolio of work inspire our production choices (ie. duplexing, foils, etc.), but their attention to the overall quality was very impressive. From a technical standpoint, we quickly figured out the limitations of using fine-serifed typefaces like Bodoni with foil stamping. Luckily we picked up the right advice from Henry + Co (as well as FPO's 'Ask the Expert') and made the necessary tweaks before going to print.”
