Project Description

This was our first full wedding set with our letterpress Winston... We loved meeting with Dan and Nai who were married at Watego's Beach in Byron Bay in March 2012.

We designed and printed this letterpress wedding invitation set for them, which includes a two colour invitation, plus one colour RSVP + Transport cards, all pressed on 300gsm Lettra Fluorescent White paper, and a keepsake printed handkerchief map — these were then all wrapped in a bellyband then sent out in lined envelopes with printed address labels… Yummo!

Production Lesson(s)

Letterpress has been an eye-opening way to continue feeding our obsession with a more hands-on approach, getting away from the screen and bringing design to life literally—an important catharsis for two designers who still start each design concept with a pencil on paper. ”
