Project Description
This project was a wedding invitation for a young couple that wanted something unconventional and playful, but not too crazy since this would be mailed to conservative relatives. Also, the couple has a small production budget of about $1.50 per invitation including envelope, but not stamp.Production Lesson(s)
I letter-pressed this invitation using a Vandercook machine. The first 10-20 runs came out a little muddy (too much ink), but I didn't realize this until I saw a good press with less ink because I didn't have prior experience with the press. Ideally I would have run 20 test sheets through to get the machine to the proper ink level.
