Project Description

For our invites I wanted to acknowledge my fiance's traditional roots, while at the same time packaging it in a contemporary design. To softly expose the traditional family history, I decided to use some old 1920s era slang with retro flourish and banner styling.

Production Lesson(s)

Scoring and folding must be with the grain of the paper. Against the grain can cause paper cracking. Dark, uncoated paper will typically need a double hit of metallic silver to dry dense. ”
