Project Description

With an impressive client list and an illustration style perfect for letterpress, it was bliss the second Donna's beautifully hand drawn line quality hit the paper. We've had the opportunity to work with Donna on several design projects, so it was rewarding to create something just for her to show off her work.

Production Lesson(s)

As with most letterpress projects, we learned something about our tools and resources. Whether it be learning exactly how paper stretches, ink viscosity effects the print, or that lever you really didn't quite understand until you hit and screwed something up. Each project leads to more confidence and the ability to push the limits.

Sometimes cranking a letterpress is a little like riding a horse...except wearing spurs probably wouldn't help.”
