Project Description

The poster was designed for Barcamp Omaha which is an "un-conference" held every year in Omaha, Nebraska. It is unique because the speakers are the audience members and the audience members are the speakers. You can sign up in the morning to talk about something you're passionate about. We have 3 categories that we use as a guide for the talks: creative, entrepreneur, and technology. When concepting ideas for the poster, I thought, "What if Barcamp was held in a factory around the industrial revolution?" Instead of just talking about what their passionate about, everyone would actually create these things. The poster is an illustrated portrayal of what I think a historical Barcamp would look like.
