Project Description

TR-Pseudonym is a typeface designed by me, to represent me for the purpose of self promotion. The bold and thick letter forms represent my confidence and credibility as a designer, while the serifs represent the side of me that likes to have fun and not take things too seriously.

To get things rolling and my typeface into studios, I created a type specimen for Pseudonym that was hand screen printed. Sentences were written throughout that could be about the typeface or myself.

The finished piece folds out into an A2 poster, where the final sentence 'I am just you typeface', with 'face' crossed out concludes the idea.

Production Lesson(s)

A slightly thicker stock would be used next time. I was wanting a little show through to give a news print look and feel. However, during the drying process on some of the posters, the show through was a little bit too much.”
