The Giffoni Film Festival has promoted and developed cinema for young people since 1971. Now in 2013, despite the festival’s age (43), it remains active, fresh, and engaged in advancing young people’s films. Project Description

The Giffoni Film Festival celebrates its 43-year old course and the theme is "Forever Young"; 43 years dedicated to youth being a really long time. The most important elements that are used for the design of the poster are the following; the number 43, associated with youth and all that it expresses. The number 43 is shown so prominently because we want to emphasize how old this festival is and that it is still active and fresh, youth being its key feature.

Production Lesson(s)

The challenge we faced is that this project aims mainly at children, since the target group of the film festival is from 3-18 years old. We had to go back and think again as children and figure out all these things that make not only the children happy but also their parents, talking about values, habits and activities that keep us all forever young.”
