POP Greetings is getting greeting cards out of mailboxes and the bottoms of gift bags, and back out in the open where people can actually see them. With their fun retro design, these “wine bottle stationery” cards get the party started with metallic inks and custom die-cuts.

Project Description

POP Greetings is stationery for wine bottles. When gifted, wine is usually put in tacky gift bags or in very elaborate and expensive ones. The goal was to offer consumers something with more personality and the opportunity to write a personal message as well.

Production Lesson(s)

Working with opaque white is tricky. There are several instances when I thought one hit would be enough on certain graphics, but in reprints I may add another. Or I might overprint the white on the metallic ink for extra punch. ”
