Blending printing techniques is hard enough, but the folks at Woestwerk stepped up the challenge by doing so in a small space. The business card. Using die-cut, letterpress, and duplexing they manage to create a beautiful card that brings all the elements together very nicely.

Project Description

Our goal was to create a card that is both elegant and rough, in dark brown and yellow. A card that shows paper structure and layers, it had to show craft and design.

Production Lesson(s)

Because we used two techniques together it was important that everything would fit together properly after printing. Especially letterpress has much influence on the shape of the paper. To make everything fit together properly much more thinking and measuring was needed than we had previously expected.”
