Project Description

This identity was created for the St. Edward's 2015 Graphic Design Senior Exhibition. The name of the exhibition references Malcolm Gladwell, who stated it takes 10,000 hours of practice to achieve mastery in a field. The work exhibited was a product of the senior's efforts to become proficient and skilled designers.

Brandy Shigemoto and Kelly Cromack created the logo, fold-out mailer, and campus poster. All of which were printed themselves with a MZ1090 Risograph printer.

Production Lesson(s)

Unfortunately it's very difficult to perfect registration with a Risograph, but eventually you start to embrace the aesthetic. The prime challenge we had was preventing the smudging of the posters which were sent in the mail.”
