This promotional poster is based on one thing we can all relate to: lunch. A quirky interpretation and review of a design firm, the process, and the clients of the past year.

Project Description

We had some fun designing an expanded view of our year at Proportion. We couldn’€™t ask for a better network of friends and family.

All elements have kept us running and continue to nourish our progress —€“ just like everyone’€™s favorite time of the day, lunch.

While each of the numbers on the schematic represents one of our 2016 clients, the explanations of each on the poster are meant to be fun, tongue-in-cheek descriptions for anyone viewing the poster. Descriptions include:
1 - Lightbulb included. Ideas sold separately.
2 - Instant cocktail: just add liquor & mixer.
3 - Let me see that sushi roll.
4 - Malus Domestica Explodus.
5 - Up-dawg.
6 - Some parts may get better with age.
7 - United we stand, divided schematic.
8 - Superfluous flange.
9 - Ate it anyway, blamed on Doug in IT.
10 - Go shorty.
11 - J. Geils Frame.
12 - I'll get you next time, Gadget.
13 - Rubber chicken wire.
14 - Variable transmission (VT).
15 - A notch above.
16 - Mechanical apparatus (MA).
17 - Me Ander, you Coil.
18 - "More Clutter" by Susie age 4.
19 - Gone hay wire.
20 - Think inside the box.

Production Lesson(s)

It always takes longer than expected.”
