I recently started an instagram account documenting my growing collection of vintage children’s books. It pales in comparison to the extensive cataloging done by this account, which features multiple posts per day built around a topic. This week is Halloween themed.

And here’s a link to mine, if you like such things. I’m posting one book per week, cover to cover.

Six-year-old Alexis, who recently battled acute lymphoblastic leukemia, asked Make-A-Wish “to create a cartoon that would tell her own story in a way her friends could understand and bring awareness to pediatric cancer”, who enlisted Seattle-based World Famous to create a three-minute fairy tale starring Princess Alexis as herself battling the dragon “Kemia” with the help of her family and friends. Heart-warming story.
