Around this time of year we start to see a lot of ho-hum takes on calendars but this one, by London-based POST, is a knockout: “DodeCal is an innovative polyhedra calendar system, designed with mathematical precision and finished in high quality European sycamore”. Limited edition of 100 for year 2017. Better get on it. Also, plenty of process pictures at the link.

Houston, TX-based design firm Rigsby Hull is mobilizing taco trucks across the city to help people to register vote by having well-designed registration forms AND tacos at each truck. This was spurred by Trump supporter Marco Gutierrez who recently said “My culture is a very dominant culture. It is imposing and it’s causing problems. If you don’t do something about it, you’re going to have taco trucks on every corner.” Dude, I would kill for taco trucks on every corner!
