Speak Up Milestone

We have broken the 100 comment mark for the first time! I think it was appropriate that this happened in the UPS redesign discussion. This topic has been one of the most talked about events in Graphic Design in the last decade, yes, even if nobody outside the design profession cares at all. It shows that we care, and we are the ones supposed to care about things like this.

So a big thank you to all who Spoke Up on this matter. It has never been more important to hold people (UPS executives and designers alike) accountable for (de/re)shaping our visual culture.

Funny I was just thinking about the UPS rant last nite as I was building my own verizon rant. A good shaming is in order for all the designers who crank out and celebrate crap!

I'll throw the blanket over them, and you and Armin can wield the bats.

....I have someone in mind already.

Bravo to Speak Up for holding us all accountable for our actions. The industry as a whole is better for it. Congratulations.
