Did everyone have a draft email ready and waiting? ; )

Kiran Max Weber’s comment is:

Joy and Armin, is that the order in which the email's were received?

Did everyone have a draft email ready and waiting? ; )

Of course! I mean, uh no.

joy olivia’s comment is:

Kiran, you're so clever! That is indeed the order in which they were received and processed by our pal Armin.

Paul’s comment is:

Hey Tan, remember this?

"I'd love to do it, but fear that I won't have the time when it comes my turn. But in case you can't find enough takers, I'll do it -- but that won't happen.

Couldn't stand to be left out, huh?

Questions for Joy/Armin:

Does the sign-in sequence represent the routing sequence as well?

On Jul.14.2003 at 03:19 PM
Kiran Max Weber’s comment is:

Kiran, you're so clever!

Oh very! So this may be premature, but what happens now? My clever self is assuming a schedule will be posted indicating which ten days we each get?

Tan’s comment is:

Good grief. It was like you were giving away free land in Alaska or something.

What a frenzy! I had my email all prepped and ready, typed in the email address as fast as I could, and still only managed #8. Damn! Who guessed the email address correctly ahead of time?

This was fun. We should come up w/ a series of timed games or something participatory. More ways to waste idle work time :0p

Armin’s comment is:

>Joy and Armin, is that the order in which the email's were received?

Actually... shit, I put them the other way around, Jason Lee is the first, let me reorder.

>What a frenzy! I had my email all prepped and ready

Haha! Yeah, the first 13 came in all whithin one minute of each other. This was almost a reenactment of the pilgrims fighting for land in California. I may kid about this, but I thought it was pretty cool to get such an emotive response. So thanks!

Alright! Looks like I'll be starting things off. It will be very interesting to see the final piece.

Tan’s comment is:

> Couldn't stand to be left out, huh?

ah hell no. I couldn't stand on the sidelines and rubberneck while you guys partied.

the way Armin did this was competitive in nature too -- and I never back down from anything. dammit why couldn't I look the other way?

my wife will kiiilll me for all the time I'll spend on this. Armin, can I have the futon if she throws me out?? Better yet, can I tell her you made me do this? Then she can just call your wife.

On Jul.14.2003 at 03:48 PM
Arturo’s comment is:

Maybe routing from geographical zones? first the guys from the east then west ones... could be? or heck with it! and let this baby travel ;)

Armin’s comment is:

>Better yet, can I tell her you made me do this? Then she can just call your wife.

Whoah, Tan, no need to bring the wives into this... I can sneak you in through the back door.

On a project note, all the participants will receive instructions on what happens next in the coming days. And for the rest of the wonderful Speak Up readers, we will start posting scans and pictures for you to see as soon as we have the first batch, probably in a couple of weeks and don't forget that we might start another one in the upcoming months.

Sara’s comment is:

I'm #12.

I'm also Damien's girlfriend - the same girlfriend who gives D. a lot of crap for the amount of time he spends 'talking' to his imaginary 'friends' on Speak-up. Now I too have been lured in by this seductive Open Space project.

I have been excited all day, but now I realize I will have to pace myself and wait about 6 months before I get my turn. Six months of plotting. How big are the pages?

I'm also going to have to check everyday to see what everyone else has done. I can see Damien is going to make a lot of fun of me for this one. But it will be worth it.

Thanks for organizing this.

Sara

So Damien is real. I thought it was your cat who made all the comments in his name.

> the same girlfriend who gives D. a lot of crap for the amount of time he spends 'talking' to his imaginary 'friends' on Speak-up.

you, my wife, Bryony, and a bunch of other SU wives should form a club.

hey think about this. At least Damien's not an eBay junkie or worse yet, into cat porn or something more depraved than SU...wait, that didn't come out right.

Arturo’s comment is:

>and a bunch of other SU wives should form a club.

thats a dangerous thought ;)
