Our third book as authors and designers, published by Rockport Publishers, is now on the market, Graphic Design, Referenced: A Visual Guide to the Language, Applications, and History of Graphic Design. We’ve also put together a one-page preview with details and sample content.

TypeCon 2009: Rhythm

Armin will be speaking at TypeCon in Atlanta on July 18 about the identity design for the conference created through the Department of Design.

Alternate Super Bowl XLIII Logos

To complement a January 27 article in The New York Times, “For XLIII Years, the Big Game as Art Form,” author John Branch and editor Jason Stallman approached Armin to recommend a group of designers to provide alternate logos for Super Bowl XLIII. The article quotes Armin and includes his clashing-helmet design.
