Ryan Hembree is a designer, author and educator from Kansas City, Missouri. He is Creative Director of Indicia Design (pronounced in•dee•sha), a nationally recognized and award-winning graphic design firm specializing in visual identity development and design. He is the author of The Complete Graphic Designer (Rockport Publishers, 2006) and writes a bi-monthly, online newsletter on design trends, Re:marks — Thoughts on Design. He teaches graphic design at The University of Missouri, Kansas City and the Kansas City Art Institute.
