Word It for April
That which does not exist nor is true nor real nor possible, yet has the possibility of actually being, making it funny or sad or encouraging, simply by the imposition of two (or three or four or more) differing things that are not meant to be together (or are they?) and live in perfect harmony as a fiction of our sometimes twisted imagination and the belief that these exaggerated paradoxes and similies and contrasts and what-ifs are merely that and nothing more other than exercises in stretching the realms of decency, taste and all that is good and noble and accepted, threatening to mangle what we know and understand in a complicated know of unbearable and delightful dualities through unapologetic irony and sarcasm and wit. Parody is the Word It for April. |
