Winkreative took inspiration from the simplicity of good aircraft design, and the trust it instills in pilots and passengers alike. We conceived the name Kopter for its strong, single-minded confidence and ownability. The Swiss flag and the aircraft’s rotor blades served as reference points for the brand’s new logo and colour palette. Now launched, the brand positions Kopter with a newfound assurance that will take it to ambitious new heights.

Opinion
Even for swoosh standards the old logo was bad with two unrelated swooshes flailing in the wind and surrounding some decent but totally boring typography. It’s a good thing everything got thrown out the window here, including the name. The new logo features a great icon that is a mix of the ever-present Swiss Cross and helicopter blades that exactly conveys the two key things about this company: it’s Swiss and it’s about helicopters. The wordmark is nice too; nothing super interesting but well executed and balanced. The livery looks pretty great too but that might be because the helicopter is slick AF.
